This print portfolio exchange project, curated by Rona Green, involves thirteen Australian artists who were invited to make a pair of prints exploring the theme ‘double’.

Working to the theme, in any medium of their choice, on paper sized 38 cm x 56 cm each artist was asked to create two prints in editions of thirteen (to be exchanged amongst themselves) plus two sets of artist’s proofs, one set of which is on exhibition at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery.

To complement the exhibition the artists have generously donated the second set of artist’s proofs to the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery print collection.

Participating artists are: Raymond Arnold, Rona Green, Andrew Gunnell, Greg Harrison, Michael Kempson, Deborah Klein, Rebecca Mayo, John Ryrie, Olga Sankey, Heather Shimmen, Sophia Szilagyi, Janet Tavener and Joel Wolter.

Rona will be giving an exhibition floor talk on Saturday 30 August at 11am and the exhibition will be formally opened on the same day from 3 – 5pm. A relief printmaking workshop will also be presented by Rona at the gallery on Sunday 31 August.
